CCF has for many years shared the cost of printing the Living on Karst publication. Three thousand were printed about three years ago and have been given away for free including mailing cost.
We need to print another run and are looking for sponsors and donations to do so.

A new disease, White-nose Syndrome, is killing bats. As of May 2009 millions of bats have died in eastern US during the hibernation season. Here are links for further information.

About half were professional non cavers and the other half were from mostly the working caving community. Small world, we went to see an under the river spring which had been pointed out to me 30 years ago on a white water trip.
